So last friday was Canada day and I went with my friend to visit her friend....ok complicated the idea was that I went over to someone's house as an outsider while waiting for her friend. Long story short her friend finally arrives in her car and they were talking and this guy pulls up beside us and asked "have you seen a dog gone by?" her friend Vinny replied "yah, a small one, it was running around hysterically!" then the guy said if you see it could you call this number gave his house number and said "if he comes by again he responds to joena" 3 mins after her left, this pug looking dog pops on the opposite side of the street. It was dark only streetlights that shone. So the dog came by after Vinny called his name we pet him and he was frantic! let me explain.
Being someone without a pet, you can tell in his eyes that he was so scared and he sniffed and turned his head everywhere probably seeking for a familiar scent or a face. It was sad! I mean I felt really bad for 'Joena'. I didnt' want him to runaway again so I held him back and pet his back. He glaces back and you can still see the fear in his eyes. My friend first stuck him between her legs she said it shows domination but I wasn't too keen on the action the dude is scared, what domination do you need to show it? So later I said I think he is even more scared so she picked him up and and Vinny's friend called the dude's house. I kept petting him and her friend Vinny kept calling his name. My friend, the one who was holding him said he is shaking. Poor little guy.
I mean the best part of this experience was to see the guy's father who came back and called him 'Joena' the dog's eyes light up and the old man's face was full of relief. It literally felt like an Oprah show where some old dude gets reunited wit his son or something. I think it was a good thing we all did. If it was my dog I'd duck tape him to my leg! Missing complete and this was a chapter added to Jane's life.
